ABOUT
It
was an unexpected decision to transform
the passions of one New York based, married
couple into the creation of Mamma Duchess:
food and wine expert Andrea Taormina and
interior design manager Rebecca Tory shared
a desire to offer innovative, as well
as classic, cuisine to be enjoyed at home
or on location. They chose to combine
their shared experience of working in
New York restaurants such as Pastis, Morandi
and The Waverly Inn as well as The Soho
and Tribeca Grand hotels, with their enthusiasm
for the foods of Italy, France and Spain.
Continually
influenced by their travels to Europe,
Andrea and Rebecca wanted to extend their
love and passion for food and wine, which
was only experienced by friends and family.
In doing so, Mamma Duchess was created:
a culinary experience waiting to be discovered.
To
this day, Andrea and Rebecca continue
to explore the authentic food and cultures
of southern Europe and beyond, to share
with their clientele the best of international
cooking and lifestyle.
